Wooden sculptures from Roncegno

Vernissage of an exhibition of wooden sculptures

On Friday, November 22, 2024, a traveling exhibition of wooden animal sculptures was opened with a short opening speech by our deputy mayor, Mariana Čapková. It was donated to the schools in Prague 6 by a partner school in the Italian town of Roncegno , which regularly hosts our children from the second grade every year on a trip to Italy. The guests of honor at the opening were our students, who visit Bára Hubené's wood workshop and were able to get inspiration for their future work here
 
The sculptures are displayed on the second floor of the school building and children can view them during breaks. They will also find a foreword and author's commentary here.
