For several years now, 9th grade students have been working on their final theses. When working on various topics, students demonstrate their skills, set goals, search for information and process it, solve problems, draw conclusions. They demonstrate computer skills, create presentations for their work and defend it in front of a committee.
Pupils choose their topic already at the end of the eighth grade. The fact that these works are meaningful is also proven by the feedback of our former pupils, high school students, who have no problem with term papers and other larger works.
The final theses are also the basis for the so-called final assessment of pupils. Even though it is no longer mandatory, we consider it an important part of evaluating the outputs of the school's educational activities in the field of competences.
